Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology

California State University Fresno is currently offering courses leading to the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology degree in Ventura County and Santa Clarita. Since Spring 2003, the NSF CREATE Center has been funding this offsite program to increase the access to four year degree programs for technologists in the region. Students may take courses for this degree program at Moorpark College, College of the Canyons, and/or online. This page contains information relevant to current or prospective industrial technology students in Ventura County and Santa Clarita ONLY. Students interested in the degree program offered on the CSU Fresno campus should refer to department's web page at: http://www.csufresno.edu/indtech/ .

What is Industrial Technology?
Industrial Technology is a field of study designed to prepare technical and/or management oriented professionals for employment in business, industry, education, and government. Industrial Technology is primarily involved with the management, operation, and maintenance of complex technological systems while Engineering and Engineering Technology are primarily involved with the design and installation of these systems. Admissions Information
  • Prospective students should apply online at: http://www.csumentor.org/admissionapp/undergrad_apply.asp
  • Applications are no longer being accepted for the Fall 2004 semester. Prospective students should apply for Spring 2005.
  • Applicants can check their admission status by by going to http://my.csufresno.edu. Click on the link "Get an account now!" and follow the instructions. After you have a Fresno State e-mail account and password, you can log onto My Fresno State at http://my.csufresno.edu.  Then, click on the link on the left-hand side that says "Student Portfolio".  You should be able to see your Admissions Status there, and you can view outstanding items on your application (such as the application fee or transcripts, etc.).
