- I would like to download some of your materials. Where is the download area and what formats do you provide?
- Where is CREATE located?
- Which area of your site offers the most information and materials?
- Where are the familiar blue underlined links on this site?
- What does your CREATE logo represent?
- I notice that in your links area you use abbreviations. I find it hard to tell what the links mean. Why do you use so many abbreviations?
You will find the main download area under the files link. You can see this link from the resources and site map pages. We usually supply most files in either Word doc or Adobe pdf formats. We also have PowerPoint, QCad, and Multimedia formats on the site. All files should be identified by their three letter extension and we have a definition page explaining these extensions.
CREATE is composed of Colleges, Universities, and Industry Partners. We cover a large area of Southern California and the Central Coast of California. We have a map that shows this California area. Our offices are located at College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita and our servers are located at Allan Hancock College in Santa Barbara County.
That's easy... please check out the resources area.
The CREATE site uses a slightly different color than the normal text color and style sheets to format the links. All links appear with no underlines. It's an artistic thing, hope that is ok. You can verify links when you mouse over the text.
The blue and gold colors represent the blue Pacific Ocean on our coast and the gold represents California the golden state. The heptagon, (seven sided polygon) represents the link between the seven Community Colleges that are members of CREATE. The seven yellow/gold circles represent the seven colleges.
We use abbreviations and fragmented sentences to save page space and get as many features on the site. To overcome the abbreviation problem just hover your cursor over the link and a popup will appear with a more detailed label. Try it... move your cursor over the CREATE CATC button in the left-hand navigation bar on this page.
