On January 14, 2009, CREATE invited faculty and industry to a planning retreat held in Cambria, CA which was attended by twenty-eight faculty and industry from Southern and Central California. These included nine former FDW1 (Facilitator Development Workshop I) completers representing seven different institutions. |
One agenda highlight was when the facilitators separated from the main group and participated in an hour long focus group led by Russell Richardson in which they shared their experiences, successes and challenges of overseeing the workshops for their part-time and full-time faculty. This feedback is being used currently by the Objective One team to reshape the FDW1. |
